SAYANAL

SAYANAL is one of the biggest producers of foil and foil-based packaging in the world. The facility was launched in 1993. Liquid aluminium for the production of foil is supplied to SAYANAL from the nearby Sayanogorsk Aluminium Smelter.

SAYANAL is the leader in the Russian foil-rolling industry by production volume and breadth of product range. It is the only plant in Russia that produces 4.5-microns-thick foil. Products from SAYANAL are used in various industries, including food, confectionery, pharmaceuticals, construction, automotive and tobacco.

In 2023, SAYANAL implemented CA-55, a major investment project. Under it, three new production lines were installed: for continuous casting and rolling, for slitting and straightening, and for degreasing aluminium strip. This increased the capacity of the plant from 37 to 55 ktpy.
