The largest power and heat generating plant in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, was commissioned in 1931. The plant was one of the biggest in Russia at the time, supplying electricity to the Gorky Automobile Plant. Key generating assets include: 8 turbo generators, 10 power-plant boilers.
