Compagnie des Bauxites de Kindia (KBC) is one of the Metals Segment's foremost raw materials assets, accounting for more than a quarter of its total bauxite production.
CBK operates bauxite deposits and infrastructure, including a rail line and an ore transshipment port. It launched production in 2001. In 2017, the Group signed a memorandum that extended the concession agreement for the Company's Kindia bauxite project until 2051.
